Amei Concert

So I went for the AmeiZing Concert last Saturday and I just wanna say that it was SUPERB. I paid $168 for it and I swear it was worth every single cent.

I have only gone to 2 concerts in my whole life thus far, the first one being Yoga Lin's and the second one this. And comparison jumps in concluding my point with: there is no space for comparison. One was just "oh yes I went for the concert, it was great." and the other one being "Just let me stay there forever and never come back to reality."

The good thing was how she was able to do both EMO and HIGH parts really well. And your emotions just go along with her songs like a roller-coaster ride and yet everything turns out really smooth-flowing as well! The emo parts were good, the happy parts were good and the high parts were just so awesome.

My favourite part was when she was singing 彩虹 and it's this really blessed song so the monitor will feature couples and when you see your face on the screen you're supposed to give your other half a sweet sweet kiss and everyone who got featured on the screen weren't shy at all! It was super sweet and touching especially when they zoomed in on old couples or gays!! Which really brings me to my next point because concerts are the only place you feel loved by every single person. And of course all the parts when everyone sang together because her songs are just so 耳熟能详!

The funny part was when she didn't let us leave because everyone was super high especially during the encore part but when it was 12am everyone literally turned into their true selves and ran for the exit in order to catch the last train. SINGAPOREANS BEING SINGAPOREANS~

But all in all I'm really glad I went for it! Now I can't wait for Mayday to come already please <3

My Saturday was

Super well-spent and productive!

Even though I woke up at only 10.30am...and it is currently 5pm now. I have already finished packing my room which we Chinese call it “大扫除” since Chinese New Year is around the corner! And also finished my Biz Comm Proposal and am all ready to hand it up! And also went to fetch mommy from work with Ling and had lunch at Ajisen!

It may not sound very impressive to you but it sure is to me. Because I usually spend my whole Saturday doing nothing and just enjoying the free time and worry-free moments.

Another 2 weeks left to CNY which is also the Study Break for my school, which means I'd have to squeeze time out from my celebrating mood to study. The only good thing worth mentioning is I only have 2 papers to sit for! PACC and MAEcons......the latter which I have no hope for. Nonetheless, I'm very motivated to work towards my 3.5 and above GPA *prays hard*

My last paper would be on the 25th February and I'd have graduated from Year 1!! It really seems so short and yet so long at the same time...but I AM SO HAPPY because Year 1 modules are so boring and I can't wait for Year 2! But before that, let me show it off to you because I'll be having a 6 weeks' holiday!!!

So I really hope I won't spend my 6 weeks of holiday in vain because I have the tendency to waste time during holidays...which I'm pretty sure I won't this time round because last night I received the bestest news of me getting into FOC/FOP!! *cheers*

Another happy thing to share - I'd be going to the Amei Concert tonight!!! Blog about it the next time I'm free.
