From then till now

Recently I've been feeling all the nostalgia and I can't stop thinking about my childhood + school days. We used to be so carefree and innocent, doing all the stupid yet we-think-it's-cool stuff. Dressing up as if we were the fashionistas when in reality it's just erm...

Anyway! What I'm doing for this entry is to put up a series of photos to show how I looked like from Sec 2 till now. Okay it is seriously very horrific but it's also funny to look at how "cool" I thought I used to be. Hahaha.

Seconday 2 (2009) - don't know what's with my obsession of posing like that all the time + disgusting heineken tee that was in trend + phone with lanyard + can't smile properly coz of ugly teeth + I really looked so kiddish last time + very involved with class matters (good memories but plays no part in my life anymore)

Secondary 3 (2010) - cut my hair short coz I saw a senior in school with super nice bob haircut and I wanted to do the same..turned out to be like crap + still couldn't smile properly coz of ugly teeth + very introverted + awkward + out of the place + I remember I was so sick of going to school coz I didn't really enjoy the accompaniment and was not close to my classmates + couldn't catch up with school work at all (basically a really bad year)

Secondary 4 (2011) - first half of the year when I had bangs + wore ballet style school shoes + started to become closer to my classmates + becoming more extroverted + getting more involved in school matters as I was the treasurer + being committed to my CCA + starting to like going to school

Secondary 4 (2011) - second half of the year when I started to grow out my fringe + still couldn't smile properly :( + learned how to do my fringe into a braid and did it almost everyday + taking 'O' Levels + graduating from RSS + attending prom and dolling up as a 'lady' for the first time in my life + dyed my hair bright golden brown (ewww)

Post Secondary 4 (2012) - finally put on braces!!! + having the guts to smile properly even though my teeth was still gross looking during the first 3 months but also coz I couldn't really smile without showing my teeth due to all the metal stuff eek (but you know what? braces will always be the best decision I've made in my entire life)

Pre-poly (2012) - had the time of my life without school for 4 months plus + trimmed my hair to shoulder length hair and back to bangs again + my teeth slowly becoming straighter and straighter!! + pimple outbreak like mad + bangs becoming side fringe + still very skinny lol

Pre-poly (2012) - attended camps before poly started and got to know a lot of people + starting to look less like a kid and more matured + no more bangsssss

Poly Year 1 (2012) - started school!!! + straight teeth!!! + pimple outbreak ongoing + alternating between side fringe and bangs + on board cruise + went to Taiwan with my family

Poly Year 2 (2013) - still alternating between side fringe and bangs + totally rocking my braces look + pimple outbreak slowly subsiding + discovered my love for the trending "xiao long nu" hairstyle + went to JB with the DTRM peeps

Poly Year 3 (2014) - FINALLY REMOVED MY BRACES!!! + discovered how to draw my brows and look lesser like a man + discovered my love for shoulder length hair + finally stayed stagnant with my grown out fringe + mixing with my omakase peeps a lot + went to BKK and Genting with family + starting internship...............

Marking the end of my journey with this pic with my mom (coz I love her like crazy) and yep this is my latest look... I feel I really changed A LOT throughout the years? Not only do I look A LOT lesser like a child now, I also look more put together and prettier(?). I mean I am definitely not pretty but as compared to the past I think I improved a lot so give myself a bit of encouragement hehe. I also put in more effort to dress up and draw my brows (lol other than that I still hate makeup).

So YEP that was how I grew up along the way and my conclusion? Braces saves your ass.
