m a r c h i m e s: Just a little update

Sorry I haven't been blogging much. School work has literally taken over me. Even though I still feel like I've learnt nothing ever since school started. It's just that, all these are happening too quickly and I don't even have the time to react yet.

Sigh.

I was supposed to blog about loads of things. My immersion trip to JB. Fiona's birthday. George's birthday. Mother's Day. And all the little stuff here and there. I guess as I grow older, I become lazier.

I'm gonna do a short summary about everything because my memory is failing. I'll just try to recall everything that I can. And probably, just probably, try to blog more from now on, ok?

The immersion trip was more fun than expected. At the beginning, I really thought it was gonna be boring, staying in the resort for 6 days, not being able to go anywhere else. But it turned out otherwise. We had so many bonding sessions, not only with our own classmates but with people from other classes as well. Little talking sessions in my room almost every night and getting random seating arrangements for meals and lectures got us to know more people.

The highlight of the trip was definitely RON's Factor. Where we had to act as waiters and waitresses and serve our "nasty" classmates who acted as customers. And they were really nasty. It was such a chaotic moment, but yet we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. To be honest, I wouldn't mind reliving those times again :')

I think entering DTRM was one of the wisest choices I've made in my entire life. Honestly, I can't imagine myself to be anywhere else right now other than, here. SP DTRM.

Fiona's birthday was filled with surprises! And I'm glad we succeeded every surprise! I could see the gal was really touched and happy the whole day :')

In the morning, I arrived earlier than all of them so I brought the balloon in and quickly tied it to her chair in the classroom. The class sang a birthday song for her when she came in!! First surprise CHECKED.

We had a long lunch break because the other half of the cohort was at JB. So we went to Clementi Mall for lunch at Swensens! Here, we planned another surprise again. Mac and Andre were supposed to feign going out to smoke after they finished their food. And they were going to come back with a cake! Coincidentally, people from 06 were also at Clementi Mall!! So they collaborated the surprise together and taadaa~ Second surprise CHECKED.

At night, we went for dinner at Little Pancakes! By the way, the food was really good so go and try it everyone!! This surprise was the hardest and the main thing for the day because we collaborated with her secondary school friends! We took a long time deciding on the menu so we could wait for her friends. It was a long story as to how we diverted her attention from her friends entering the restaurant so I'm gonna skip that. All in all, third surprise CHECKED!

George's birthday was a failure!! Because our surprise failed...terribly. But I don't care because it's a MUST for him to appreciate our efforts!! So the plan was to sneak into his house before he reaches home but as we were walking there he reached and he saw us........... I can't explain how fail we were omg :<

Mother's Day was celebrated at a restaurant in CCK called Guilin Restaurant. My sister and I paid the bill because we felt we should finally do something for our mommy!!! I cannot explain the amount of love I have for her coz she's daaaaa best ♥
