Waking up early and squeezing with the train crowds haven't been very nice and I absolutely detest going to school in this weather. It's damn hot and hot and hot like I no longer have another word to describe it. Just HOT.
This academic year seems more interesting than the previous one. And time is gonna pass by so fast I'm sure I won't even know what I did and the next holiday is gonna arrive real soon. To be honest I can't wait already but in the mean time let's just motivate myself to work real hard towards my goal :-)
Enough of school and school and school.
Two days ago I woke up pretty early in the morning to go 扫墓 with my family. Nothing much. The usual. Answering the same questions from my uncle each year. It is pretty surprising to know that my maternal grandparents have already passed on for 10 years. Time is merciless, really.

Had dimsum lunch at a restaurant at CCK Stadium. The food was not bad and I spent quality time with my family! I love having meals with my family especially when I've been out of the house so much for the past week and haven't been spending much time with them.
Took a short nap when I returned home and before I knew it I was out again to celebrate my dear bn's birthday!
The day was filled with problems and obstacles :( We intended to celebrate it at Omakase Burger (yeah my work place) but we were afraid it'd be too crowded and inconvenient so we switched to Ssikkek Korean BBQ at Novena instead.
Von and I arrived early coz we went to prepare the balloon and stuff beforehand. We walked a long way to Ssikkek to realise it moved to another location...walked to the new location to realise it was still under renovation. We started to panic because bn and the rest already arrived and were at the same place with us so we gotta hide!!
Thankfully we found another Korean restaurant nearby and we settled dinner there in the end! Thankfully the surprise succeeded and the birthday gal was happy!! :-)

It was a well spent day and I'm glad we still make the effort to celebrate everyone's birthday together! Growing up isn't easy, growing up keeps us busy, growing up makes things seem a lot clearer and complicated but what is simple and easy to comprehend is the friendship among us. A toast to our everlasting friendship! ♥
Last but not the least, (today is actually her birthday) Happy birthday to my dear bn!! <3 I hope you had fun the other day and have even more fun today! Felt loved the other day and feel even more loved today! I hope life gives you the best things that you deserve and may all the blessings be with you <3 Happy 18th!
