I turned 18!

Yesterday, I finally turned 18!

It was a long day. It was a happy day. It was the day when I feel the most blessed, most special and most loved. I have so much to say, so much to express, but just how do I do it?

I don't know if I'm a positive or a negative person. I have my ups and my downs. I am someone who doubts myself and the people around me a lot. I am someone who needs assurance all the time. I have high expectations of those I love because I know I'm willing to do as much. I get disappointed easily because I expect too much. Such are flaws of me, yet people are willing to love them. It is not easy to love me, and yet yesterday, I saw so many of you who did.

My family, never ever expressing their love but making me feel it effortlessly. Asking about my plans for the day because if I had none, you guys would be there. If I had plans, you guys don't complain. I know my happiness was important to you people just like how yours were important to me. Thank you papa for giving me an angbao. Your love was never expressed but felt sincerely all the time. Thank you mommy for giving birth to me because that was probably the best gift you gave to me, a life. Thank you to my sisters, adoring me despite my stubborn and capricious personality. Thank you, for being my family.

Thank you PZ and Von. For coming up to my house with my fav orh lua. For PZ's surprise candle with no cake. For PZ's special gift. For PZ's appearance despite his busy schedule. For your existence. For coming into my life. For loving me for who I am. I cannot thank you enough. My times in Riverside were probably the happiest period in my life and I cannot be luckier and happier to say that I met both of you there. You guys should and would know how much this friendship means to me. I love love loveeee you both! ♥

Thank you to my piggies even though only some of you turned up. I am really not disappointed or angry that the rest couldn't make it because I know you guys have school and everything and we're all really busy with our lives right? It's the thought that counts and I have really received it. Thank you Mengwee for that phone call. Thank you for calling me even when you were so busy in school. Thank you Joohan for sending me the text late at night right before my birthday ended. Thank you Beina and Kangling for coming down even though you guys had school. Thank you for the card, the gifts and the balloons. I love you guys for bringing so much happiness and joy to me not only on last night but for my entire life as well ♥

Thank you Kelvin, Xiaoqin and Elaine for coming down!! I admit I was most shocked seeing the three of you. It was so heartwarming. Seeing you guys made all the memories come back. The times when we laughed together, sang together, studied together, teased Kelvin together. Those memories will never be replaceable and I'm so sure I'm not gonna find anyone else like you guys. Thank you Crystal for the birthday wish even though you couldn't make it. I truly appreciate everything!!! Thank you for the sunflower as well, it is so beautiful and bright, just like our friendship! ♥

Thank you SALK. I never knew you guys would come down. On this special day, for me, with my other friends. I never knew you guys planned something. To be honest, I never once imagined we'd become friends when I first entered Poly. But you guys came and made it possible. You guys made Poly a better place. Thank you Fiona for the hello kitty sculptures and the card. Thank you Josephine for the "友情客串". Thank you Stephanie for getting me such pretty items!! I love everything especially the hello kitty contact lens case! Thank you HuiTing for the balloon and cake I suppose? I don't know which present is from who exactly but I LOVE them all!! I love you guys for being the happy pill to my poly life ♥

Thank you my favouritestestestestest bestestestestest friend. I really cannot thank you enough. Most of my dedications have been for you so I'm going to cut this short because I know if I start, I cannot stop and everything will go out of hand. You know too right? Nothing has mean more to me than your love and our friendship. Nobody would ever go to the extent of making a video, doing up a blog entry, knowing what I like best, planning surprises with my friends of different schools, accompanying me home and helping me to carry my stuff to my house, and just being there with me on this special day. "Please know that I love you more than anything else in the world." Thank you for being in my life and I want you here forever! ♥

Thank you to the rest of the people who made an effort to wish me on instagram, twitter, facebook or via text, I have received all the blessings and I love all of you! Thank you to those who remembered the day. Thank you to those who only knew me for a day or two and still wishing me. Well, some knew me for 2 years and happily forgot about it. Thank you regina bb for wishing me on the dot via text + twitter. Your words never fail to touch my heart.

After yesterday, I finally realised how important it was to remove my birthday on facebook. To see who bothered and who didn't. I am not a calculative person, but I have always believed in doing what you want others to do to you. It is not what you did that matter, but what you want to do that is most important. I know now who means more and who means less, who truly cared and who just didn't wanna waste their time. I know who truly loved me and who didn't. Thank you to those who love me.

To end this off, I have my 3 wishes ready.
1) Those I love, and those who love me, to be healthy and happy always.
2) My parents to live to a ripe old age.
3) To never disappoint, to never fail, people who love me.

Last but not the least, I still can't believe I'm 18.
